Depressing somewhat to be working on Boxing Day! But, the highlights made up for the 9 hours slavery:-
1) Surprise pressie from a Secret Santa in the office! My colleague thought HE had popped by to pass me some documents to review and hence, did not think too much of it till my squeals of delight! Thank you my dear sweetie Secret Santa! I LOVE THE PRESSIEEEEE!
2) Surprise birthday lunch treat from Gene! It was super duper cool of him and we did what we were best at, yakking and eating and yakking and eating!
3) Surprise birthday dinner treat from Chrissy! A massive pig out session with lots of gossip and laughter!
4) Surprise birthday drinks with TH! Even after the relocation, he had yet to lose a wee bit of the Singers boy in him and hahahahahha, damn friggin awesome to catch up and listen to some good ol' advice! The bonds forged in those premium local sweat shops over drinks, late night dinners, gabzillions of papers, cursing, swearing and gossiping are indeed long lasting! And YES we have all aged and put on weight!!!
AM still tingling with happiness from all that surprises! Thanks and see you guys sooner than sOOn!
